By using this method you can save lots of your valuable time as to Installs from a flash drive tend to take about 75% of the time it takes with a DVD.It will took 20 minutes instead of 30 minute which is took by DVD .

Here we start a process to install Windows 7 from a USB Drive just follow simple steps show below:

1. First of all you have USB Drive,which must be at least 4 GB.

2.Plug the drive into your PC.

3.After that open a command prompt as administrator. (Right click, Open as Admin, or Ctrl+Shift+Click)

4.Get the drive number by typing:

Diskpart => List disk => In my PC USB disk was number 1.

5.After doing just Format the drive by typing:

Select disk 1 => clean => Create partition primary => Select partition 1 => Active => Format fs NTFS => assign => Exit

6.After that mount the Windows 7 beta iso or insert the disk.

7.Then you can copy everything from the Windows 7 installation DVD/iso onto the USB key (a simple drag and drop will do).

8.Now you can insert the thumb drive into the system you want to install Windows 7 onto and boot the system. The installation will now proceed as usual—but faster.

Now wasn’t that easy.

The Music Bay: Pirate Bay Strikes Again

For years The Pirate Bay has been a thorn in the side of the music industry, but things could be about to take a turn for the worse. Over the past days rumors of a new project titled “The Music Bay” have been circling, and now a Pirate Bay insider has just confirmed to TorrentFreak that the major record labels have good reason to be afraid, very afraid.

A few years ago the Pirate Bay crew registered a domain name that until now hasn’t been very active, themusicbay.org. At the time it was registered there were plans to create the most efficient music sharing system ever built, but these were put aside as other projects needed more urgent attention.

In recent days, however, rumors started to grow that The Music Bay domain might be put to use after all. It is currently setup to serve ads for The Pirate Bay website, but this spring it could be hosting a special surprise for the music industry.

The currently active subdomain fear.themusicbay.org is currently displaying a “comming soon” [sic] title so TorrentFreak caught up with a Pirate Bay insider to learn more about the plans for the site. Although the Pirate Bay crew is reluctant to release any specific details, their intentions are obvious.

“The music industry can’t even imagine what we’re planning to roll out in the coming months. For years they’ve complained bitterly about piracy, but if they ever had a reason to be scared it is now,” TorrentFreak was told. “It will be a special surprise for IFPI’s 78th birthday, and we’re thinking of organizing a huge festival in Rome where IFPI was founded.”

IFPI is of course the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, one of the most active anti-piracy outfits and a long-time adversary of The Pirate Bay. Formed under Italy’s fascist government of Benito Mussolini in 1933, IFPI will turn 78 in April of 2011.

TorrentFreak did ask for more details about “The Music Bay”, but the above is all we are able to reveal at this stage. What’s clear from the conversation we had, however, is that the major record labels are in for a big surprise. More details are expected to follow in the near future.

Without any hard evidence all the above can of course be interpreted in a million ways. We simply don’t know what the announced project will be, who will run it and what it will do. For all we know the entire project is nothing more that a domain name, registered and used just for the purpose to put fear into the already quite paranoid music industry.

How to Create a Portable Hackintosh on a USB Thumb Drive

There are tons of awesome live, bootable Linux systems, but what if you need to run OS X? Reader Will shows us how to put a portable version of OS X on a thumb drive and boot it on (most) Intel computers.

People put linux on their flash drives all the time. They also get hackintosh on their hard drives quite often. However, it’d be nice to be able to get the same live experience we get with Linux using OS X. With a distribution of OS X 10.6.2 called iPortable Snow, we can.

You’ll need an actual Mac to create the thumb drive (some Hackintoshes may work; mine didn’t). Search your favorite torrent site for iPortable Snow and download it. While it’s downloading, format your external hard drive or thumb drive (You’ll need at least an 8 GB thumb drive for this). Open up Disk Utility and select the drive you want to put OS X on. Go to the Partition tab and create one partition, formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Hit Options and make sure you’re using the Master Boot Record option. Then hit Apply to format the drive.

iOS: It’s been a long time coming, but finally Microsoft Office users can get their favorite note-taking app on the iPhone, so you can view, create, and sync notes on-the-go.

While OneNote is a pretty great note taking app (and one that many of you actually prefer), it’s biggest downside was that, unlike the popular Evernote, it wasn’t cross-platform. Microsoft took a big step in that direction, today, bringing OneNote to the iPhone. With it, you can get all your existing notes from the OneNote desktop app and webapp directly from the cloud, edit them, and even create new text, picture, bulleted, or checkbox notes right from your phone. It even saves them in the background as you type.

Microsoft OneNote is free for an as-yet-defined limited time, and works with iOS 4.2 or later. Microsoft OneNote 2010 is required to sync notes from the desktop app.
